The Pov changes are a major point of annoyance, if it's for half a chapter or so it can be tolerable but here we have 4 chapters in a row where the Mc is non existent. That's almost a quarter of the chapters that the reader has read, not to mention the chapters where the focus was on Liz and rain.. It feels like in a story about the Mc he's the one least mentioned. I don't mean to criticize, just provide feedback from a readers perspective.
The story is not unreadable but just annoying to constantly read about random characters that come out of nowhere for so long its like watching an action movie and at one point the action stops and you see 30 minutes of a street vendor selling hot dogs that wouldn't make sense right no one would like something like that but its the feeling i get when is see the pov switch It's not like i will stop reading the story or that it's bad but i hope that stops in later chapters
