I'm liking the book so far, but I have a query for this chapter. In the beginning of the arc, it was insinuated that being gay wasn't seen in a good light in this world, pls correct me if I am but wouldn't an obviously gay be rejected by the public. Even if we say that it was not totally rejected thanks to the ML's large fan base, there should have still been a large resistance coming from those with conservative beliefs and the homophobic, and infact the product's advertisers would have rejected the advertisement concept immediately since be gay in that world is (supposedly) highly controversial. Just saying. N.B: This comment is made on the basis that being gay is controversial in that world, since in the beginning the film emperor wanted the MC to take the blame for his twin brother whose gay relationship was caught on camera. Also when MC was being interviewed by the reporters in the beginning he states "that his brother was not that he was the gay one and the one at the bar that night", in an attempt to "shift the blame for his twins actions to himself". So being gay in that world would not necessarily be illegal since the film emperor's relationship with original owner of the MC's current body was an open secret in the industry but not too affected by it, but was controversial since if the twin being gay was out in the public it could have ended his career. FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ME WHERE I AM WRONG 😄
