If you keep giving away his magic left and right, you really need a plot development that will allow his to absorb magic through the air or form a growing magic core to replace what he loses and allows his to grow stronger. Because he's going to end up like Ozpin where he's too weak to fight beyond human levels, because he gave all his Magic and Power away to the Maidens and Qrow and Raven. Maybe Evolve his semblance to work on Ambient Magic in the Atmosphere and Through Dust since it's just Crystallized Magic.

I think he don't even need Dust, Grimms are made from Dark God's magic after all, he just need to transform that dark magic into normal magic.
