I knew the comments section would talk about that lol. As a black person myself, the N word doesn't matter that much for a long time now. It depends on who is saying it, why they are saying it and especially HOW they are saying it. For example I see a lot of non-black and especially white white peeps here in Canada talk about the double standard when it comes to the N word, but they just can't seem to understand those 3 rules. A lot of time they say "bidder" not understanding that that is very racist đ¤Śââď¸ regardless of the context. Whereas "nixxa" or especially "my nixxa" is depending on context is different đ¤ˇââď¸. This is a rare case where I see the author or translator or maybe even editor get it right on all accounts in a novel series... one of them must be black or is frequently around one or some.
