This seems far to....made up? Not sure how to describe it. This cities may be 3000k away from each other, which suggests a massive world but considering they can pass it with a bus in 2 hours its likely not considered far. Having the technology so different is just improbable, this would have seemed more...realistic if they were on different continents or better yet different planets.
