He seems to be yelling at her about something.

/"Fuck,/" I mutter underneath my breath

/"Stay here/" I tell Grace

I do not wait for her to respond before I rush towards the two of them before things get violent.

/"Hey! Hey! Hey!/" I say as I push Rosemary away from him, stepping in front of her

A sarcastic laugh exits Karl's mouth.

/"Of course you're here!/" He exclaims

I glare at him.

/"When are you going to get the memo that Rosemary doesn't care about you?!/" He yells in my face

I do not back down from him.

He doesn't intimidate me.

/"When she can think for herself and isn't being brainwashed by a fuckwad like yourself/" I fire back

This really angers him.

/"Listen here you little-/"

/"Don't talk to her like that!/" I hear Rosemary interrupt him

I turn to face my best friend, noticing that she is now standing beside me.

/"Excuse me?!/" He questions with a low voice
