This reminds me of some older Minecraft survival mods where you had to constantly change one resource into every other that you needed, it was actually a lot of fun. Great chapter, thanks Kotario!

Maybe the purpose of test is just not to survive the desert. But to make it prosper like what Darius is doing now, how can they become a king if they don't know how to make the desert a living compound?

nice, but i got questions did i miss something becouse it being a test suggests there i a goal to achieve and a fail condition, as far as i recall Darius just spread his senses to find nothing in his range and now wasting time, dont get me wrong i get the grow stronger part but hes just making material spell and that is wasting time the test may be time sensitive he didnt confirm what the objextive is and i bet there are ways to block his spiritual sensea since its basically a dream and not reality, now hes working towards regrowing the desert and i fail to connect that to test of mettle, i guess he coupd try to awaken his bloodline powers and whatnot but since its basically a dream his progress may all diasapear when he wakes up
