This seems similar to eating steak while complaining about cows being killed. They seem to have a sudden change of heart about the sanctity of life, so I take it the protagonist will no longer kill every beast he sees for money and cores?
Sakusei:You probably haven't been to a slaughterhouse (were animals get, well, slaughtered) before, or at least heard of it nearby. I haven't been on one, but I've heard of it happening (not someone telling it to me, but literally I myself hearing them). Pigs will make a loud noise that would make you feel sad to kill them.
Hopefully there's no bs premise like mana eye hunters, or if you transplant mana eyes you suddenly have the ability to use said eye. Because if that was the case it make story kinda stale from how many times that cliche has been used(Primarily Xianxia/Chinese novels where you somehow steal/take someone's power), because at the end of the day that power is what makes the MC unique.
I am happy that there was no cliche with the fox issues. However,I still have problem with the whole eagle situation. How many beasts have they killed to get stronger themselves ? why are they blaming the noble for sacrificing one ***** beast. I really don't understand the fuss. Even in our current Earth, that is something acceptable in all countries. Anyway, nice story, keep it up !!
