So Charles is just pitying himself the whole chapter because this is a political marriage? 😂 Guess what, Kathrine was forced to leave her country and family to be bound/forced to a man who is already in love and preferce his mistress over her... ... and a douchebag on top of that. They are mocking her and don't respect her as well. She doesn't expect anything from Charles (anymore) and just want to breathe from time to time. And he always goes: I can't do anything. 😢 We don't expect much. Just shut the f*** up or control your damn d*** when your lover has you completely in the palm of her hand. 😌
Even though Rose and Charles story is not described in details... I'm not liking rose character may be because I like Katherine more... Katherine is similar to mari so i wish charles to treat Katherine better... they bound to each other without their choice so at least they can be good friends... rose is using his love for her to wound him in her hands
Him Saying he feels bad for her but that its not like he could do anything is absolute bull. He has accepted his responsibility of getting married for the kingdome but Seems to think is totally normal for her to need to give up everything but he is not subject to the same. Like the fact Rose can only be his SECOND wife is suuuuuuch a sacrifice. And it only makes sence to treat liz worse to make his precious Rose feel better. I hope he realized Rose is awful (she seems sus) and then it be to late for him to be with Liz as she is Happy with someone else.
