this chapter again strengthen my claim about the fact that Marianne didn't killed killain in her sane mind. She didn't came from any dysfunctional family or experienced any tragedy to make her mind so twisted that she would kill a child just because her husband wasn't paying attention to her. it was a scheme, a very well made scheme! Isabelle manipulated her mind while feeding her with nuisance, resulting in duke getting even more infuriated with her behaviour and her taking out all frustration on Killian. and all of this happened because of that drug in the tea. anyone's mind would get twisted if they are attacked in this manner. Such a clean freak plan!! duke would not even able to find evidence on the marquis family because it was his wife who tried to kill killain, not them. and they even made killain in their side!! So horrifying!! I think it was duke who got killed after Marianne. that also explains why Marianne's head got cleared before her execution, she was not given this tea, and she obviously regretted her actions. If this is true then blame goes on Cassius.He doesn't even knew the full potential of his enemy's viciousness and dragged a stranger in his mess which ruined her life. if he can't guarantee her safety then why did he married her in first place!! but then again, he is also a victim, I feel bad for him too, bit I really hate the fact that she got involved when she was not at all at fault. maybe loving Cassius was her biggest mistake, just like Cassius's mistake for loving Elizabeth. and Marianne is also a fool and careless person...gosh I hate them both already!! 🤦 again these are only assumptions but even these assumptions are making me anxious lol 🤣🤣...I do think ALOT 🤣🤣🤣
