a total flip in his behaviour is kinda hard to digest.. well atleast he is on the way.. but i don't get it what's that point of him loving or liking her when he had totally given up on him(or she didn't?).. bcuz she must be a saint.. like after all that hate towards him.. she will talk to him, n believe him, n then try to understand him, n forgive him, n give him a chance, n love him back.... such a long process.... so sad poor baby Killian went through so many hrash punishments.. mari should beat the hell out of those teachers.. how can someone punish such a cute little baby..
Interesting and entertaining to read, great work so far. I hope to see more chapters about Cassius learning Mariannes struggles in society, learning why his methods were wrong, maybe realizing what he had almost done to Killian, leaving him fatherless. The complete 180 felt a bit strange but him realizing these things would be cool to read too. A complete breakdown of character [img=faceslap] Also why in the original sotryline if he was thinking of divorcing Mari did it never happen :)
Each point is good so far...yet if Cassius and Marianne started changing their point of view for each other it would be more interesting like it will be a new feeling...it would be boring if the male lead changes or died..because so far Cassius's character is best suited for the male lead. Just my opinion...nothing else but thanks a lot...for hard work and chapters.
I want Damien to tell him about Marianne's love for him before their marriage. He must know why she married him,it's not because of his power or any kind of pressure, or marriage of convenience, she had so many hopes and love for him. he must know so that when he will realise what he lost will make him more miserable š lol I'm kinda sadistic š¤£š¤£š¤£ and Marianne must know about his revenge, I'm actually annoyed that she thinks that Isabella and duke are having affair...like eww!! I kinda hate both sisters after reading the flashbacks. Like how she gave away his late mother's jewels to her lover, idk why, but out of all those horrible things she and her family did to him, that one incident made my heart bleed. It shows how she never had any regards to his feelings at all. I have even stopped my prejudice against him(and that incident with Marianne) and tried to understand his tragedy as first person experience. Isabelle is also a vulgar woman like her sister. Their whole family is filled with fiends.
What I dont understand is if he always planned to divorce her why in her past life he didnt? She lived 15 years with him and was old and bitter when they executed her. Had he divorced her in her past life, it all could have been different. Maybe this is answered in future chapters but sounds as a discrepancy right now
so Damien is not going to tell him why Marianne didnt married him but duke? i thought it would be great if he finds out from the sources other than Marianne herself. right now she is completely hurt. she might even tell him in spite that she always hated him lol š¤£ he should know her original self before marriage
fire of revenge first burns the person who ignites it. and thus fire will first burn marianne before burning cassius. ughh!! its frustrating to see them like this.they both had suffered both are guilty and innocent at the same time sometimes I wonder how much of hardships and suffering is enough in exchange for the little happiness and inner peace?. I pity them... their relationship is so messed upš¤¦āāļø.
