This is gonna be the biggest issue with the novel. I hate how he is so cold and calculating in this simulation. He is saying honeyed words but it seems like he couldn’t care less about the person. He is living an entire life in this world, the least he could do is invest emotions. Idk, I liked the way the first simulation went. This one emotionally invested the readers more than the MC and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Simulations are a bit too long and Go too deep. Although mc seems to be able to Remember that it is just a simulation and makes cold selfserving choices, its getting to the point where he has lived more Time in simulation thaN in reality. That has got to take a toll on his personality + real world seems Less memorable than the simulation at the moment.
