I always found the laws in that anime absurd. I can understand wanting to control the powers to prevent anarchy and also protect the heroes from civilian interference, but at times in the series they went too far and it was ridiculous.

He does realise that the jewellery he took will be labelled as stolen, right? And this is quite entertaining but the writer is doing a sloppy job when it comes to important things such as names costumes and stuff like that for jokes and useless references.
