being interrupted in the middle of a fight sucks so I wouldn't suggest that but if it doesn't interrupt the flow much I would do back and forth chapters so we don't have to wait 10 chapters after Michal is done with the tournament fo Gaya to come back

The 4xM 4xG format is better since it's less likely to get the story mixed. Unless the action of one of them impact the journey of the other one and we need to see how the development. 🤔🧐

I like the 4 and 4 idea. that way reading becomes more immersive. Nothing worse than a character change right when things are getting interesting!

constant switching between characters every chapter is distracting. So closure of each mini arc or mini plot is best. So.... MMMMM GGGGG for me!

You probably already made your choice but i think staying with one for more then one chapter then switching would be best.
