this was a great chapter and I could feel what hyson felt when he was young ! my family wasn't well off when I was young so I was forced to grow up and do things sensibly but I don't regret it becoz I wouldn't become who I am if not for that phase !

I just couldn't understand one thing, Elle's father, is he good or bad? he will come every year to see his mother's grave stubbornly eventhough elder xiang wouldn't allow him, but why isn't he stubborn in the same way to meet his daughter.. isn't Elle his flesh and blood.. why don't he love her?? didn't he want to meet his daughter or see her atleast.. isn't she like his other children?

Mother Yue's backstory is something I am looking forward to. I have a feeling it will pull a lot of heartstrings.

I'm so glad that Mother Yue and Yanyan are the besties, and they share their deepest pain with each other. Sharing the deepest feelings with your bestie is like you get embrace by them without any judgments ❤

We all have our sufferings and pasts which either ruined us or made us But you know what pasts doesn't change us it is US Who either choose to ruin or be not affected. I know it's hard not be affected but we can try to move on from this but not forgetting how we have suffered cuz this suffering and pain is the best boasting anyone can have. The pain makes us strong. Failures makes value success. And those who haven't suffer anything major or depressing doesn't mean they have to suffer it to become successful or strong. Ppl can become stronger if they want they need pain for it. Pain is for them who never thinks of becoming better bcuz they think are already better now but I believe we need to keep changing ourselves as we grow. We can't be same person that we were 10yrs back and we can't be same after 10yrs from now and if someone says to you that nothing has changed in you. Don't trust them bcuz they don't live your life. Changes happen in all. We just need to keep moving. We can't let them hinder us from living our life. The one and only same purpose we all have is that we can't give up on our life without fighting till end. We can't be silent when are suffering. We need to be expressive. As the pain hidden inside is the biggest DESTRUCTION. Dunno why I wrote this ... .. WELL THANKS A LOT AUTHOR I m not a deep person I m just someone who has suffered and I m suffering too even I sometimes think why I m still doing nothing about my suffering like ending my life but then again I can't give up. NEVER
