I think you perfecty captured the emotional psychee of an abuse victim perfectly and it was so interesting to read from a male characters perspective. I think in so many novels the victims of abuse do tend to be female so this was really refreshing and loved that a light shined on showing that men can too. Thank you for the perfect ending, and for bringing Rupert back - I’m not even a cat person but that bloody cat had me crying 🤣
