Typically ones cultivation path is cut off when they fail the Tribulation because they die but what happens if they fail and live? Will they still get their baptism or be denied it by the heavens, subsequently preventing any further ascension? With this in mind would John's greedy absorbtion of the lighting come back to bite him by affecting Iris's baptism and potentially cutting off her path?
