I really hope that Viscount was just lying and was just saying it because like always he was being manipulative lying b*stard, to somehow delay his being homeless and penniless after all after all what he have now is all from Addy. And Elias...you did not see that coming did you??? so did I... i dont know what to feel about this chapter..but anger is definitely there.
@Xin, I am thankful for the early release chapters but the ending of the two chapters makes me regret reading it because of cliffhanger (I wish there are another 2 chapters coming at 5pm GMT+8. Lol! Just kidding😉😊). Like what I commented from the previous chapter, I hope Viscount Marden is just lying. I am crossing my fingers. And now, in this chapter, what Elias is hoping is different from what Adeline is about to do. Though, I know that Elias won't agree to that. Anyway, I still trust your writing @Xin. Waiting for another twist of the story.
Geez, everything got so twisted so fast. Was her uncle being intentionally callous because he knows Adeline’s parents are her weak spots? It seems that she’s being taken on a ride, i can’t imagine what she’s feeling or what’s going on in her head. And I bet Elias never expected that to come out of her mouth, but I know he won’t let her go so easily. this cliffhanger was even worse than the previous 😭😭 Thanks for the early release and all your hard work, you’re very much appreciated~
I hate the viscount and I'm sure many ppl do too. I just feel so bad for Addison and adeline. :( but I hope adeline won't be that affected by the viscount being her dad (if he is) after all not all children follow suite to their parents. i hope adeline can deal with the situation appropriately and with an open mind.
All of this greatly ruined my day and my mood for this book. I can stand anything but this, I thought no rap* was also applied to all major characters of this book, even if it's rap* or not, it's all same. Now I'm worrying to look at your other books if your style of stories could become this disturbing. Knowing Addison was that important in the eye of Dorothy and Elias, I just couldn't take it. Sorry don't mind me but here's where I end this journey. Nice story so far.
