I really love the mind game aspect of this novel. Make him like a hidden expert/underground mob boss while maintaining good reputation is really cool as well! Light magic for illusion/sending radio waves/ long distance messages would be super cool as well. It doesn’t even need much energy, just sophistication

Dont worry author. Tbh, i had initially come here for the seggs but now i am entirely in it for the plot. And as someone before me said, having mc as some kind of hidden boss who quietly controls elven society from the shadows would be a great direction to take imo.
