Hi author, you just need to be careful with the continuity of the story. Like he should be better with magic because of the rituals he went through (but he's still learning so there's still a lot of potential here) Also, you can use the books as reference but you don't need to follow them to the dot. Don't forget that this is a fanfic so it's fine to change stuff a bit. P.S. snape should be softer on rose, maybe you can have a pov chapter for snape to make it show that he's just acting harsh to her but he doesn't really want to? You can also make him secretly help her once in a while, like a though love kind of thing. Anyway, you're doing a good job in this fic. Keep it up!
