For some reason, I can't establish a connection with the MC in this story. for LOTM, the readers reacted to the story along with Klein. But in this, nobody knows what the MC is thinking. Readers can only see the reaction of his actions. Not the motive behind it or his thoughts. This is different. It's too early to judge whether that's good or bad. I guess we'll see.

I like the story. But having to wait one more week for regular release to start... 😔

It's ok I like it. Those first chapters may be too slow for some people but that build up is worth it. With Cuttlefish every single volume 1 lays the foundation for great story. Let's hope this is going to be translated ASAP so we can be right behind the RAWs

Tbh I quite like it, it's a bit slow but yeah still. Haven't read LoTM yet though, I suppose people just have high af expectations of this and end up disappointed instead of the novel being bad. Pretty sure that's a major reason for most of the negative reviews I've heard
