nice chapter, but pretty weird at the end. only a little bit

Seems like a filler chapter. Nothing much is happening which is frustrating considering these “filler” chapters couldve been used to make Yuan mature and grow up so he’s not so naive, dense, and dumb compared to normal people his age or even people half his age since he acts 6. This story has a harem and a romance tag, yet the main character himself has zero interest in romance, women, etc. Almost 600 chapters in and he hasnt even wanted to get a girlfriend yet lrt alone a wife or several wives to form an actual harem. I wish Yuan was more like the main character in the authors other novel where the other MC is confident without being a jerk, is very smart, and does great with women instead of wasting them or friendzoning them like Yuan does. The other MC is great at treating his wives right and at romance/ being intimate with them too. He wasn’t shy, naive, or irritating like Yuan has been.
