“His” faction would be run by everyone else. It would have to be or nothing would ever get done because he’s too naive about people and oblivious about everthing going on all of the time. He doesn’t learn, grow, or change, he just wanders through the plot and is confused by anything people say or do.
Ah right, a person that dedicated all his life for serving the family is betraying it for the sake of a girl he knows a little more than 10 years. This novel never was the brightest and one in terms of writing and character development, but it’s just getting purely dumb for the sake of adding new obsessive girl into harem. At this point it’s too hard to ignore this bs. Dropped.
idk man im bored, where did the cultivation aspect go? why is mc still dumb? i can tell from a mile away some contrived plot is being forced and until then mc will remain unable to cultivate at which point he will magically get super strong and all the problems will vanish under the rug. plot hole be damed!
Marry Liuxiang (and the others), Yuan! And start your own faction, where you and your wives (since he should also marry Meixiu, Yu Rou, Feng Feng, Xiao Hua, and the others) can be safe, cultivate, and grow together. I’d really like the story to go that direction since it makes sense, especially if they find out Yuan = Player Yuan, they’ll be fine marrying their daughters to him - although Feng Feng and Xiao Hua may not need to ask their families. It would provide Yuan and his wives the autonomy they’d need/want while letting them be able to always stay together (since they’d be married and in the same faction). I’d be fine with them all being engaged until later in the story, but if they’re all at least engaged then we wouldn’t have to worry about any of the families trying to marry any of the women off to someone besides Yuan and would hopefully prevent any stupid “young master”-types from pursuing them too hard.
