Yuan really is an idiot at times. The fact he hasnt even considered starting his own faction is ridiculous. Also this “I don’t like violence” makes me facepalm. I usually don’t like generic wuxia/xianxia MC’s but in this case their more assertive, confident, and mature personalities would be a welcome change to Yuan’s stumbling, naive, immature, dense, and at times dumb self. I guess I just keep getting more and more frustrated with the fact that we are closing in on 600 chapters of the story and Yuan still treats everything and everyone with “kid gloves”. Not to mention he is still inept and oblivious at any meaningful romantic or sexual relationships/situations. He also fails at understanding and recognizing social cues. I just wonder based on how unbelievably slow Yuan is progressing in terms of him maturing and knowing that the story has the romance and harem tags, unless something drastic happens very soon to make him change (man that would be great), the story would need at least 3,000 chapters for him to finally mature and have the character and relationship development that many of us (definitely me anyway) has been desperately waiting on. As much as Yuan wants to be “free” and wants to protect the women he cares about then starting his own faction and having them join it is the ideal way to move forward. He could set up his own rules, keep his “friends” close so he can spend time with and protect them while also cultivating together. So Yuan definitely needs to keep Chu, Meixiu, and the others close and treat them well, so they can help him mature ASAP, and have some wonderful wives once he realizes the romantic relationship potential between him and them (men/women), and he stops continually putting them in the “friend/family” zone. Sorry for the rant, just after everything and Yuan saying that he’s never really considered starting his own faction coupled with his immature personality just really got to me. I understand Yuan had somewhat of a reason for being immature at the start but its already been close to 600 chapters, he needs to grow up already.
