I say Harry blocks out the link to the cup but doesn't explain what happened, no need to tell people he's a campione yet. Harry shouldn't leave Hogwarts to soon since he still can make a copy of RoR once he finds it, maybe Kuroka can explore and tell him about it. Can he learn the mind arts when Snape tries to read his mind and just take all his knowledge.
Love it! Campione is such an under-used fandom, and it goes well with both Harry Potter and DxD. I also love how you are going about this version, with more passive authorities that make Harry have to learn and train, even if at an accelerated pace. I do have some questions about the wider world building though. For one, how are you dealing with the Heretic Gods vs. the different pantheons? Are you replacing all of the normal gods with Heretic ones, and only leaving the three factions and youkai, as the only non-human powers? Or are you explaining the difference being that there are physical gods, the ones that exist regardless of faith, and started the legends that gave birth to Heretic Gods? You could also play it as the physical gods get powers from faith and belief in their legends, only for them to die at some point for whatever reason. Then that power of belief, with no physical god to draw on it, essentially condenses to create Heretic Gods. Or are you going with a different explanation for it? Also, what are the criteria for becoming a campione? Personally, I would restrict it to only humans who don’t have a sacred gear or holy sword, or power. Otherwise, Cao Cao could become a campione no problem using the True Longinus, and swords like Durandal or even the Excaliburs could pull it off pretty easily. Vasco Strata would also be able to do it without an issue due to the strength of his holy power. If it becomes easy to be a campione, it loses a lot of the impact. Keep up the great work!
