i don't know why new authors don't understand how a good party is made. a good party is where everyone contributes equally. it is not where one heroic member is constantly sacrificing his growth or strength to support the weaklings, who behave like parasites: taking all giving nothing. watching an MC sacrifice their strength for family, party, or friends is not fun.
I just find that he completely dropped the ball on revealing the system moment I mean come on it’s the first true interaction between his siblings and all there is is “this drink health good” aka drink this u will be better. Like seriously you had the I’m telling a story thing and Kay had the implication of knowing what’s going on, you could have written something like he voices his opinion about it and stuff but it’s just bam bam shock. The shock factor in it is really pointless because who really wouldn’t be shocked you could have added like their curiosity in the story or elaborated more on the story telling and their reactions to curtain actions but it was just left there and it has so much room for more emotion instead of just “qew was very interested in the story” and “Kay had a stern expression” like COME ON be creative isn’t that what this is all about?
