I kinda think his attitude was a bit pointless. Whatever did he have to draw that line for (very rudely at that; also initially sounded like he intentionally did it that way, forcing anger into his voice)? It's not like she was even clinging to him and trying to force the relationship onto him. they could have just coexisted harmoniously... If romance developed between them it develops... is he that afraid falling in love gradually would make him weak???
