Hey author, I may be incorrect but I think "latino" would be a better replacement for the word latin in this chapter. People don't usally refer to themselves as latin. They would usally say they are latino (male) or Latina (female) or specify a ethnicity such as Dominican, Mexican etc. For example I'm would say I am Puerto Rican or I would say I'm Latino but calling myself latin would feel like I'm calling myself a dead language.
I don't know if you'll believe me but I did guess it before. The only reason I didn't mention it earlier is that Warren's description did not contain the keyword "mixed-race". Now I wish I didn't swallow my words. It would've been cool to see my prediction come true. I quite like it when couples are formed from the already existing characters. So there's just one big happy family. đ I definitely ship this couple.
