I had sincerely hoped that authors taking about cultivation in modern context would be more imaginative and think about integrating technology. For a start qi infused guns and all, or even superior technology. It's either all technology or all ancient stuff with cultivation. Unfortuantely this novel is also stuck on swords and spears which are decidedly much inferior to modern concepts of weapons. For instance even with 100 times stronger body, it will not hold up against most of modern weapons. Dear author if you read this comment, it is my sincere suggestion to incorporate modern technology, warfare tactics and all in the qi/body strengthening framework. It will open many more interesting avenues of development of the world being described.
