I dont feel loke crying just feel that the parents being great nobles who have gone through wars and intrigues but act like pretty naive and incompetent.In all the other novels there are always secret guards protecting in the dark.ok so it was the palace however the royals usually have to guard against assasinations all the time. Also the MC parents only having 2 kids looking after their 5 children is close to being lazy in parenting.
