You just recap canon . You could have mentioned them in a paragraph and get over it we all know what happened we saw and read it many times. İ get it mc wants to preserve canon as closely as possible for advantages even though i personally would like to see canon of rails. You can change some things at least. Everything is same except mc is.. just there and watches everything.
