Just had a movie idea. What about Sherlock Holmes? If copyright is an issue that can be worked around by just making a unique character. That would cost it some appeal since it wouldn't have the brand recognition but if Al plays the detective role it could work itself out. Honestly I'm just aiming for him being the first to do the Holmes "predict everything in slow motion then carry out" thing. IMO it's a bit like the Matrix's bullet time. It was something original and unique that stood and became iconic. Course maybe I'm giving it too much credit. I'm not a movie buff or anything. For me at least the most memorable part of the whole Sherlock movie was that quirk so it left a deep impression on me. If you add that under his belt on top of his "breaking 4th wall" from Ferris you could maybe add more fame to Al's record for "being innovative". The trendsetter, as it were. Heck, outside of the Sherlock movie that "slow-mo detective mode" could work out in any number of different movies. Unless I'm remembering wrong didn't Al write Death Note? Maybe his studio could film a movie based around his novel and incorporate that quirk into Light (or whatever his name is in this version). Just spitballing.
