Oh I forgot to add the chapter felt very emotional with him trying to heal his teacher and his struggle with the class system, most readers may not be aware that it is very rare for civilians to be on teams with high clan status ninja for security reasons.

I like Hayate as well,,,and I have 3 reasons why letting him die in the story is beneficial! 1 If the MC has a certain pair of eyes they can evolve! 2 When the great war arc happens long down the road he will meet him again for a tear-full reunion! 3 In Naruto death flags help the MC mature and take life a bit more seriously..an example is Sas and his bro and Naruto and the toad sage.

LOL 😂 he has a crush on Hinata it’s understandable but she loves Naruto like a stalker lol 😂 and I’m not sure he actually fits in this team because the first team 8 have been friends during academy days so putting him in the team is not likely since konoha doesn’t just put people together without for thought
