Okay, here's a point. I'd like to make. I do like the story so I don't want anybody thinking. I'm trashing on it, but from a logical viewpoint. Which is better to have someone who has nowhere else to go out of a forced sense of loyalty serve you or someone who is grateful Serve you with a true sense of loyally. If he saved the village, they would be grateful and they would serve him out of a sense of true loyalty. As it is It's kind of forced and it was forced in the original too. That's why I like it when they actually change Canon. The story really hasn't changed Canon. Much other than removing the main character and exchange for another one, it's having a little work around, but it's still sticking to cannon.
