The Final Fool
I feel cheated. The author created a world that I entered willingly, and discovered a great place that I enjoyed spending my precious time in....but, instead of completing that world to its fullest potential, which was vast, he gave up. It doesn't matter the reason. What's the most disappointing is that he gave up on a creation that had a great chance of being something truly special. Very disappointing. If he chose to end it like this, then he should have chosen not to write it at all....
Dang this had so much potential. The starting and the premise itself was really great and it was really well executed but the last few chapters just threw everything down the drain. Like how is this even an ending. Like its not even a bad ending, its just completely horrible. Like there isn't any closure at all. What happened to Xiao lin, what about his friends? How does he master the ability of time. Like this whole time it hints at predestination and how those things had already happened but no somehow out of nowhere they break the loop, the heck? Like the story could have continued, from him losing his powers and using the holy grail to go back in time to change events to prevent asbanor's plan, let them complete the tournament, fight lilth, it would then have him go on to get stronger, and detail how he becomes the master of time and gets himself to send the admission letter. Or something along those lines. To be honest, I feel even having just ended it after he sacrifices himself in the wormhole is a better ending.
