Well, I'm glad that Lin Yuan gets something else out of this ordeal besides Begin Lady's loyalty. His path beyond Eternal is now a little clearer.

Well by the sounds of it this snake could interfere with the test but it suffered a recoil. I’m guessing it was trying to make her fail so he could swallow her up and improve itself this making the backlash worth while.
