Acolytes may think that if there are 10 elements it will set the instructor back as he didn't have time to delve deeper into it, which would mean that they wouldn't learn any advanced techniques, only some basic ones. it's worth mentioning his accomplishments to Magus alliance as well. it might garner some approval from people

He should at least add Space and Gravity to the list since that's more specialized than just "10 elements", thus it might catch him people who are interested in either of those.

I think the acolytes will be skeptical at first and not apply for his hall until closer to the deadline .

adding he's a half blood would probably be beneficial as more half bloods would flock to him. after all i believe most would hear of emerys name in general.
