Comments of chapter undefined of Earth's Greatest Magus

Wait please explain the difference between a saint fighter and saint magician? Is a saint magician someone who is a rank 9 acolyte but due to either not progressing or being to old, took up this mantle once they leave the academy? An a saint fighter is someone who was never able to make it to rank 9 acolyte before their time was up at the academy, so the burned their foundation (for rank 9) to essentially be rank 8 combat magus with really high combat prowess? With no chance to push forward?? Also, how many years do people get to spend in the academy? Been searching for this info; has it been mentioned? Anyone (Author-San 😉) know?
