He made the right choice. He needs closure with Gwen and Morgana before moving on with Klea. Sadly, she is too inpatience.
He won against her in a duel. I guess by blood he is like her alpha. A feeling sue doesn’t like and thinks were never clear between the two of them. It’s like “by animal law you should be together”. But he doesn’t love her and she is the one struggling with it. However, he doesn’t right out rejects her; instead, he helps her again and again making it complicated. That’s what i mean closure with morgana. Not just reject get but get away from her for good. The lingering “be always there for her” it’s his excuse for not having the ball to do what’s right.

Look I feel bad for Klea and she is the best choice for a Romantic partner for him but Emery has to much on his mind that he needs to work out right now and the woman in his life don’t seem to understand that right now they should only be concerned with getting as strong as possible before they go back to the Academy
so freaking what he has a lot on his mind. it's not like being in relationship with klea would make him weaker they are both working towards the same goal. seriously how much longer is this going to go on. I swear if they don't end up together you will be smited by a heavenly tribulation. as for Morgana she got what she deserved. considering what she did to those pups she should have died.
As much as I would like it to happen, he made the right choice. Love is hard and the heart a fickle thing. There's too much going on. They all need to focus, I don't know why his master didn't tell him but apparently the wolf clan betrayed the academy or it was made to look like that. Between that, the nephilim faction, the Grand Master looking for kaos and the elves, distractions will be the death of them. A hero's life is a lonely one.
