I really like the direction you seem to be going with Emery and his growth. I am grateful for both Bagdemagus and Morgana's actions in that moment. To be ruled by hate, is to lose all you love and once held dear.

I am sorry but isn't the novel called 'earth's greatest MAGUS', then why is he only using magic as the last resort when the situation is the worst. Why not use it to get an advantage in the battle.
