Avan
Ok this aptitude b struck me bad. I mean it was said that an aptitude of A is the base line. Why the fck he's a B? Despite having a blood of a suppose magical bloodline he's a B. While a fcking barbarian got an A. Logic is missing. It is obviously forced just to make the mc not too op. Cliché sucks bro when used improperly.
There should be no reason for him to become the best magus with his talent. He has a magical bloodline with only B talent kinda foced but ok. But for him to be the beat makes no sense. How is a kid with subpar talent supposed to be the best? Sure he has more elements but he has no talent. Everyone else is going to be putting in effort so there is no reason for him not to be left behind. Quality over quantity they will get ahead. Just sad to see a good start be ruined like this. Now i’ll have to sit through a plot armoured storline about a scaredy cat MC with no balls even though he was a Noble and better than the majority of people on earth.
I'm seeing it differently. He has excellent lineage: Father an epic beast Swordsman and mother was likely an incredible mage with forest or earth affinities. I believe that he will shine due to the different types of spells he will be able to cast. The darkness affinity will put him at about an S class verses the normal elements anyway. So being a B doesn't elevate him above them but it doesn't put him lower then them either. Not to mention spell combination and manipulation. I look forward to seeing how it works out.
Given that (assuming) he's based on merlin, giving him high talent makes a lot more sense. He can still rise from being weak to strong ect. Furthermore, even if he wasn't based on merlin I would rather one case of plot armor resulting in high talent/4 affinities rather then continuous cases of plot armor throughout the novel which are used to make him strong even though he has bad talent which would only happen because he's the "MC".
