This is a newish novel ... And this is my second time here.... I'll try to look passed all the cliché pulled in this one chapter .. Hoping it gets better ... [img=recommend]

For now, I cannot treat this as historical fiction, but I can treat it as a story. So I will try that route. You could likely resolve all of these historical issues by just making the setting the medieval era, and picking new side characters of that era for the magic school part. However, I am saying this way too late, so ignore my gripe. Thank you for writing this. That is already more than any of us complainers have done. Keep up the good work!

This is a fantasy novel for new reader been confused about the history. Just ditch history into your waste bin and enjoy. It's actually good and I'm enjoying it. I dont even care about the history thing anyway.
