I don’t know what to feel. I’m so torn. It seems the general comments are against Luke, and yes, he’s been an a**, but aren’t most alphas? Especially in the beginning, even without all the non stop drama like what’s going on in this story. However, Luke was drawn to Alex, whether it took a big push for him to accept his bond. I can’t fault his hesitation considering. I hate all the lies and secrecy, but again, all new, and the pack has lived with secrects, hiding and fearing. It breaks my heart that Luke found his mate, but the timing sucks, and the situation sucks. Neither he nor Alex asked for it. Now, there’s Theseus, who’s been waiting for his love to return. Low and behold, it’s poor suffering Alex, who’s mate is Luke. Alex wants Luke, but his suppressed soul hates Luke’s kind and is bonded to Theseus. The suppressed soul reacts to Theseus warmly. I feel for Theseus, who loves Allias, but knows that Alex is already bonded. Alex has a war going on inside. What feelings are actually his compared to his past life, Allias? How much of his current angst toward Luke fueled, not just by Luke’s actions, but also by Allias’ feelings? Luke’s made every wrong decision for what he thinks is right, creating a big rift between him and Alex, which just seems a little too convenient to root for Theseus. But I can’t just put on the fairytale blinders and see Luke as bad and toxic when I just see scared, inexperienced, and immature. 😔 I want Alex, Luke, Theseus and Allias to be happy. So hard when one vessel holds two souls wanting two different mates who want only one of the two souls occupying that one vessel.

I hope Alex truly dumps Luke, breaks their “so called bond” and go back with Theseus. I don’t even acknowledge the bond because Alex didn’t feel anything. The tattoo showed up for Theseus to find him and Luke didn’t have a mark at all. I really can’t stand Luke and he doesn’t deseve Alex. I want Alex to go back to his true people and his true mate.
