Am I the only one who finds it incredibly distracting to imagine a small infant have a perfectly coherent conversation?

Disappointed with you author, this was way too forced, not to mention cliche in a bad way.

why is he speaking like a 2 year old at 2 months ??? Why is he able to see colour as a 2 day old infant? Realism thrown out of the window so early makes writing so poor.

Seems forceful of you to make Evin coherently spouting words at that age. His brain is still not fully well developed for such feats. Should have stick to the "reduced intellect show" or "skipping time" at least. It's fiction i know so the way body works might also be different but i can't seem to rid it out my mind when he just suddenly beats science altogether in one chapter. Maybe some research on some facts on the infancy stages might do you good (I'm a biologist maybe that's the reason why this matter seems very important to me). All in all, good effort!
