I don't know from where he got the idea about mingling with these idiots and doing pretty boring rpg genre acts and if he make any major accomplishment like completing S-class missions then he's basically giving himself up and later his popularity should reach the sakura higher ups and then all questions about explaining his gains and whatnot the encounter responsible for his growth spurt.... If we're moving in this direction then story's a bit predictable and in my opinion it might be lacking in grabbing the interest it had during the initial phases of the storyline 👍
