Why does every single author do this? The scum-of-the-earth noble trope. I've seen it so many times already that it's just really damn annoying at this point. I get it, they're nobles, they're corrupt, but come on. Not a single person acts like this, noble or not. They're even in a public gathering, this should be the one place where they specifically wouldn't do this. Respect is very important for them, and having a naked girl chained up next to you will paint you a goddamn laughing stock in ANY circle.
