I am putting a theory inside my head that you are not sure about the direction of this story because some of the fanfic that I have read which has this theme is a neverending slice of life series with a bit of action shoved in it and some generic 'plot' without a real goal other than 'collect women'. The only exception that I could think of at the moment is 'Annihilation Maker DXD' because that series has an actual goal. But that's just a theory, a NONSENSICAL THEORY
