Elise brought this upon herself, when she was in the orphanage she didn't have female friend to talk to buy boy who took advantage of her and molest her to the state she is and I think after the rape incident she must have taken some drugs that are too powerful that made her sterile so it's not Dean's father fault
In my opinion, Elise and Brian didnât develop love for each other. If Elise did love Brian, she wouldnât gave him to anyone even if itâs her sister. The way Elise thought of that plan and her action shows that she just doesnât want to lose something that keeps her safe and secure. It really isnât love but a need for a guardian. Maybe Elise needed Brian five years ago because she was still young but now after five years or maybe earier than that she should have tried to break away and realized that the world isnât just what she experienced in the past and face her fears. I know that it might be scary to face her trauma, but she is different now. In the past, she might think the only one who she can depend on is Brian but now she has her sister. Also, if Brian keep staying with her, Brian would be more conflicted about his duties and feeling, which can lead to him staying farther away from Elise and causing the same results of having Elise feeling lonely and sad. So I really think he should divorce Elise because he would be doing a favor for himself, Rena, Elise, and other very important people in his life. Also, after being divorced, Brian and Elena can support Elise in getting use to normal life where she can start becoming independent.
