Oooo.... I think I started reading some kind of book that had something like this in it but like when he/she was ( I can’t remember the word but like yk ) if they kiss or do anything psychical a certain way it causes pain to the other S.O if that makes sense.... and in a way it seems like that was what was happening to her....just a guess
