Comments of chapter undefined of Harry Potter and the Rise of the Protector

Did he not make his protection agency for this event as well to crush the attackers and prevent a slaughter? Wth happened here? Did he basically pointlessly allow them to attack leaving it up to chance if they would show or not like it seems? Also why the dark mark? That was done to show off after they were done to have a finishing touch on their "statement". They just got wiped out supposedly so who made the mark and why?

thanks for the chapter but I've been meaning to ask why does he have a king aura?? should it not be noble and aloft like the phoneix or wild and predatory like a wampus cat but kingly aura really??? I even understand why people would make way for him out of respect or even is natural aura of phoneix he radiate and is otherworldly looks
